Aiding a Centre for Computational Social Sciences project, DiSA RA Neil Aitken developed a Python script employing a modular object-oriented approach to data mining, filtering, and analyzing datasets obtained from the Media Ecosystem Observatory (MEO) website data archive. Building on this framework, we provided additional functions and methods to generate both composite datasets (spanning their five areas of inquiry) and develop bespoke datasets tailored to specific types of analysis or visualization for the research team.
