Innovation UBC’s sponsored research team negotiates Collaborative Research Agreements and handles related administrative tasks for projects that are funded by, and in service of, external partners such as commercial industry, governments, or non-government organizations. Their teams guide researchers through the use of proprietary data or materials, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Data Transfer Agreements. Projects under these agreements last three months on average.
